Detailed cycling survey

I had not noticed that this survey is very old and have deleted the link. With a little luck the thread can be deleted too.

Here (was) a link to a detailed Decima Research study re cycling in Toronto:

The survey was from 1999. It would be interesting to know if Toronto has made any changes based on the results of the survey.

Oops... I didn't look at and/or notice the date. I see it now and it's quite large. Sorry to waste your time.

Still some good info though, I saved the PDF to my hard drive.

One of the things that stuck out the most to me was how the surveyed cyclists preferred on-road bicycle lanes to completely separate paths where as non-cyclist motorists preferred completely separate paths to on-road bicycle lanes. Reinforces what I've seen as far as the "get them off the road and completely the &@%@&%@& out of our sight" mentality of motorists as far as bicycle infrastructure.
