From what I have seen about this game... there is a pattern here as to who is pitching and who is catching although it may not account for 100% of the incidents.

I am waiting for some thugs to try this in a state where gun ownership is not as restricted as it is in D.C.

The game is not new. It has gone on for a few years now and is spreading. There have been at least one of the players who was shot by the victim. The player got a year in jail - he said he did not play the game much, only 6 or 7 times.

Just who are the racist in this situation, the blacks punching non-blacks or the people sick of this crime. Most people are only finding out about the 'game' now, because the media does not want to look racist for the last several years. Few if any reports have stated the race of either party. It is coming up now because so many Jews have been attacked in NYC.

PS - Just to be clear, I consider the lack of media reporting of blacks shooting blacks in Chicago to also be racist by the media.

The perps probably are not involved in any after-school programs. So this is how they 'entertain' themselves.

I am glad the two women didn't end up with life-threatening injuries. But that doesn't excuse the fact of them being physically assaulted in the first place.

I heard about this in the 90s, when a friend was assaulted in Boston. Except the group who attacked him were white BU meat-heads.

My only hope is that the victims are not knocked out, and either they or someone who is with them has CC and blows a hole in them. A few dead gamers may convince these depraved animals that they may end up dead. Quite frankly if it happened to me, I wouldnt shoot to kill I would shoot to neuter!!!!!

Looking at some of the videos in the OP article, being punched is bad enough, but seeing one person falling unconscious and face first into a concrete curb and the assailant waking casually away, is frustrating.

This thread really has nothing to do with cycling advocacy or safety; the thugs just happened to be riding bikes. And since this thread will most likely take a turn for the worse rather quickly, it is being closed.
