So, just how wide is the Porta-Potty door zone?

Dumazz. I avoid the door zone on the street, but it would seem this Einstein managed to get doored on a sidewalk.
Too bad that news site didn't have a comments page.

further confirmation that riding on the sidewalk is dangerous.....though I don't think i would have had porta-potty doors as one of the reasons before this

When we have some sort of critical mass pedestrian event on our bike paths, the organizers often set up porta-potties right on the edge of the bike path. I've seen some close calls, but haven't yet witnessed a potty dooring.

It's not just sidewalks. There are a places on several NW Indiana rail trails ( particularly Erie-Lackawana and Prairie Duneland ) where facilities are located next to the trail in such a way that this sort of thing can happen all to easily.

This begs the question. Why was a port-a-potty located on the sidewalk in the first place.
