2 Mirrors?

2 Mirrors?
I have a take-a-look mirror, and I love it. I'm planning to get another mirror of the other side of my glasses. Has anyone tried this set-up? Up here in Madison there are some bike lanes on the left side of the road and a mirror is needed on the right side, so this came to mind.

Instead of 2 mirrors on your glasses or helmet. How about one mirror on the left side, attached to your glasses or helmet & a mirror on the right side attatched to your handle bars? That is the set up I have & it works well.
I ride a recumbent though. Which means it is very difficult if not impossible to turn & look over my shoulder at traffic behind me, at least in the same manner that I would on a wedgie. When I rode a wedgie I only ever needed a mirror attached to my helmet on the left side. For looking behind me on the right I either looked over my right shoulder or under my right arm.

I never ride on bike lanes on the left hand side of the road - they are too dangerous. I have a Third Eye glasses mounted mirror on my left side. On my route home there is an expressway exit that comes in on my right and makes an extra lane in the road, so I have to cross over the lane to get to the edge of the road. I can watch traffic coming from the expressway with the third eye - it just means I have to twist my head a bit more to watch for a gap in the traffic.

Don't ride in a bike lane against traffic. It's dangerous. There is a higher potential of accidents at every intersection as the cars are not expecting you to come from that direction. And other reasons as well. I can't see your exact situation so it's hard to say exactly, but in most cases it's better to ride on the right in the lane with the traffic.
Also, with practice you can turn your head and see on all sides of you with just the one mirror.
