May he rest in peace. Just to a insult to injury, the substance was prescribed anti-anxiety medication not illegal drugs or alcohol.

The anti-anxiety medication would probably be a CNS suppressor, like valium, not an antidepressant like Prosaic. CNS suppressants act like alcohol and will affect reflexes and driving. In fact, there is a warning on the labels stating such and it's considered driving under the influence when taking them.

Yes I know, I was simply pointing out the DUI encompasses more than alcohol, in most states anyway.

Any explanation why the following is the case?--
"the plea agreement and sentence Gilbert already is serving means she will spend more time behind bars than if he charged her with Holmes’ death.
Gilbert must serve 85 percent of the four years and four months of her current sentence. A gross vehicular manslaughter conviction means she would serve 50 percent of the sentence, which for a midterm of six years would add up to less than her current punishment."
