My chopper, know as "the Klunkr". Crappy night shot. I'll post better when I've got some more.

Be warned, you cant drill through it with a hand drill.

A drill press hardly touched it, I needed to use a plasma cutter and a rotary tool.

I used to make my own fixie hubs by welding a cog onto an old freewheel assembly and locktiting it on to an old road hub, kept bending axles and breaking cogs, went with a surly hub and cog with a dura-ace lockring and am more than happy. The only "real" bike part(s) that I own that didn't come from the dump/rummage sales/dumpsters.

Wtp - you'll never get any credibility with the tall bike crowd. You'd got paint, the parts all seem to roughly match, and the bike even looks reasonably safe, not as though it might fold at any moment.

Thats because I didnt take a picture of the crack going up one of the welds at the headtube or the crossthreaded pedal hanging out .

kogswell also sells a pre-drilled cog for this sort of use, but then you wouldn't get to break any drill bits.

For reals, you may as well put a brake on it. Of course, around here I am the tall bike crowd.

Done and done.

I've started commuting on it and I live on a hill, it's nice not to have to drag my foot on the tire when I need to stop.

I know what you mean, some of my shoes are slightly wrecked. That thing is pretty damn cool, I'm loving the spikes on the steer tube. Where do you live BTW?

I actually kinda like that guy but that just sucks. It's total dick move Rocky, and nobody agrees with you.

Edit: Helmets on tall bikes are probably a good idea, not that I ever remember to wear one.
