Would this by chance be the bike that you might have been seen riding on the silver screen last night?

Did you neuter a Polaris or an Arctic Cat? ;) You need that headlamp though!

I found a Vetter with the windshield cracked at the bottom (enough usable area for what I wanted to do), but the motorcycle yard wants 50.00 and I couldn't do it yet. Found a sealed 12V cycle battery there though that was a great deal. They sell KYMCO and used cycles, and KYMCOs are certain one of the nicest degrees of PHAT outside of a Harley lot, to stray OT slightly.

I thought I'd show off my newest creation...

Is that an "F1" bike in the background?

I ditched the engine because it was ridiculous and unnecessarily fast.

I ground the frame clean, welded what holes I didnt need, and began painting.

Now I wanted to chop the frame and do some fun stuff but I just can't decide what to do, so for now it will wait and be my weekend cruiser to the pool and store.

Brian 07-13-07 05:40 AM

It would look cool with the engine now.

The bike in the background is very similar to the F1. It's the same bike without the fairing. Since I was building my own fairings, I choose to buy the one without the fairing.
I regret the decision, as the F1 also came with a 62 tooth chainring, which is impossible to find anywhere.

Sorry about the late reply.

The three bikes that preceded the Type 4:

Type 1 was 12 speed bike with an aluminum nose cone:

Type 2 was the Type 1 with a "dustbin" over the front wheel:

Type 3 was a fiberglass copy of the Type 2:

Do you still have the aluminium nose cone? That looks rather spectacular.

No, I took it to a scrap metal dealer.

East Hill 07-22-07 12:09 PM

Too bad, that one looked pretty cool...but I would imagine the aluminium was a bit heavier than the fibreglass.
