I initially posted it in the Touring section, because that's what I built it for, but I think this is where it really belongs.

It went from an Xtracycle to a suspension xtracycle to a chopper and finally to this. Naked and muscle motorbikes were the big inspiration as far as looks and position on the bike goes, but it's larger than just about any naked bike and due to the cushy 8" front and back suspension it feels more like a cruiser with a more aggressive riding position. It's truly a joy to ride.

KOTA that is an amazing transformation and pulled that off quite nicely and knowing you and all your bike builds the most amazing part is that you put on a kick stand
You are officially old!

This is our old tandem.

It broke so we rebuilt it and now both people can pedal.

I found out you can put 16 inch motorcycle tires on the OCC 20x4 rims. I stopped off at the Harley dealer and picked up some free used ones. Here they are.
The jump from the OCC to the HD is is just as much a jump in scale as it was to jump from the Dahon 16 to the OCC. There is 16" of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the frame. The center of the crank will be 20" off the ground. I am going to have to add a penny farthing foot peg just to get up on this beast! Good thing that it folds up for easy carrying!! 8)

That's the best looking modified shopping bike I've ever seen. It looks like a lot of fun. Nice solution to lowering the bottom bracket (I saw the build photos on your flickr account).

Larry built it to be repaired, he's good that way. Hope you got to ride the bike that the guy didn't break.

Out of storage for the HPVFest with an added breakdown joints that I started a few days before. It has inner sleeves welded to the back half that insert to the front half like a trombone. After that I just add the bolts. Stores in the back of the car in a stack. It's easy to do and a great addition to a long DIY recumbent.
