those oversized occ choppers?

anyone have one or a pic of one. I did a quick 'net search and couldn't find anything.

I thought I found one today. from the pic the wheels looked smaller in relation to the frame than I thought they should. when I called the seller said he was 6'4" and rode it fine, but when I went to look at it, it was just a regular one.

I haven't been searching for one, but thinking I had an opportunity got me curious and interested. I'd like to know what to actually look for so I know the next time. thanks for any help.

I personally don't have one but I rode a friends OOC once. They are pretty cool looking I agree but they are starting to go the way of the Dyno beach cruisers GT used to make (harder & harder to find) I sometimes see them go for sale on craigslist I even seen some with small bicycle motors on them but its pretty rare someone actually would want to sell theirs. I know if I had one I'd have trouble parting with it. I think the OOC bikes had a limited production run as a Schwinn specialty bike which explains their rarity. If you have an opportunity to get an OOC bike I'd say go for it. They fit most rider sizes. I'm about 5 feet 7 inches tall & I rode it just fine.

this isn't the regular occ. during that time they made a couple of harder to find variations like a larger sized frame (not talking about the spoiler) and a 3 speed. the regular occ's I have. the made good parts bikes but I don't have much use for them beyond that. I was thinking finding an oversized one I could actually ride stock could be interesting.

pedalchopper.com is a guy in florida who sells stuff for motorizing the stingray. He sells frame extension to run 24" diameter wheels and a custom fork to adult size and and make it handle fatter wheels up front as well
