I have one coat of Cherry Red onthe Delta light frame and will apply more tomorrow and the fender light has two coats of semi-flat white for later application of the final color. Pictures will follow shortly, unless they are tall pictures (like those of Abe Lincoln, it's that HAT).

You might remember this...I put it on to try it out.

I figured a seat that was possibly older than me would look nice on a bike that was pretty close to it, if not actually.

From the RNN Good News desk:

A motorcycle fairing has been donated to me! Haven't actually seen it yet but the owner is a local and it was listed in a classified ad with other things.

Also, it looks like I may have the paperboys I was looking for...

    hey Rollfast,
Reading through this post has reminded me to savour the build as much as I do the ride. Most of my builds to date have seemed to be a race to get it onto the road as quickly as possible. But for my current build I have now decided that I am going to take my time and just enjoy the build.

I can't wait to see your finished bike!

    Thanks,
    Jason

    MEDIUM-MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!

I believe I now have a computer capable of putting my motion video on You Tube, a Sony PCV-V100G. This can only lead to mayhem and pandemonium, or at least too much hype.

If pigs fly, will they stop flying when their union is broken? Will Snoopy be recalled because his comic strip contains PEANUTS? Tune in next time and find out...!

Given sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

after you're done building it, you gotta put some energy into pedaling to get that enjoyment back

Be cool if it wasn't trying to rain and blow 30 MPH half the time. I can't get THAT windy but I can be all wet pretty good!

I just wanted to note that in this year alone my You Tube account page (http://www.youtube.com/user/steadfastcoward) has reached over 2,500 views, more than 500 of them during this year! Now, I only have FIVE CLIPS of my own but I have nearly 200 in my favorites and playlists and I am vocal about what I like and I guess it helps.

Still I'm amazed, even after the support I have around HERE

My birthday is in late June and I'm shooting for then to complete Tempest...HANG ON

I might actually finish BOTH OF THEM before June 26th!

Well, here is the half and half HALF...I should have enough to handle the fees and insurance costs to get my driver's license, and my friend the used car dealer who has that Pontiac I wanted to rescue said go get that and we'll get it figured out. I've known him very well for over 18 years so it will get done.

I'm not the hotfoot that drove 30 miles a day around my own town anymore. Speed isn't a thrill, I know I can do that. Getting to my folks place for a holiday meal is. Getting electronics to the shop or parts I can find down the road 30 miles or a weekly karaoke trip...that is what it's for. I enjoy these bikes, no, LOVE THEM...My name is ROLLFAST because the grey bike became a part of who I am. I've cried from the anxieties I've faced and wanted this to become a reality MORE THAN WANTING ANOTHER CAR. There have been few things I've have a chance to transform like this, never so grand and I've never been so steadfast about it.

It started with another Western Flyer nearly three years ago, then Tempest, my Schwinn Germaine and back to another Flyer. Either I'm stubborn, crazy or all three

Of course, right NOW I have to build furniture for the electronics and studio setup, work out building the new TV mast and satellite dish mount later and get the washing machine fixed so I can sleep more...

Ladies bike fixup #2 Hawthorne, presume it's a two-speed but haven't looked hard. Gave a Schwinn Hollywood to an old girlfriend some time back, this is a thank you gift (with a Sansui 350A, speakers, tape deck and CD player).

By the way, THAT was pretty much the major announcement x2.5. My washing machine had lost the water pump after 14 years and we took it to the guy down the street who also took the AC with bad bearings that wasn't being used any more from the other bedroom in trade so that the used Hotpoint washer didn't cost much.

Junk wins again, and the Polish sausage, pop, chips and salsa with my boombox added to a really satisfying, though EXHAUSTING week.
