Not another fixed gear tallbike!

TRICKTRACKTALL (better name anyone?)

How it all started: a carbon fiber bladed fork. What else to build around it besides a fixed gear, NJS, brakeless, tricktracktall?!

All laid out, many problems to come fore sure:

hmm, frame is done, buttttttt.... it aint right. the rear triangle needs to be raised:

You can see I've decided on a color scheme:

The frame, all painted nice for mommy:

And finally, it's debut at the Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show.

I really like this one because of the kids:

Next step: make a matching top-tube pad, I feel naked without one!

to be continued.... because it has some issues.

Would the issues include how to skid on it?

That is just so cool that the ZooBombers and the DBC got to have a space at the show...where else but Portland would that happen?

it IS really cool. The community is tight here, and amongst the regular zoobombers we have friends with the fancy builders - pereira, ahearne, ira ryan, sweetpea.

The issue with my bike is that the seat stays are so long that when skidding, they flex making the chain quite slack... and then it hops off and gets wound up and locks up my whole wheel and it is bad bad bad bad.

That sounds like something that would cause me to fall and break bones .

Do you think that the fancy builders are going to pick up some good ideas from y'all?

hope so. The gravity bikes actually garnered the most attention, I'll post some more pics when I finish refining it.
