rode a cool bike tonight

I was talking to my neighbor this evening while working on my raleigh and he mentioned an older GT cruiser he had in the garage that he hadn't rode in forever.

We walked over and dug it out, dusted it off a little and lubed the chain and I took an awesome little cruise around on this puppy Totally cool bike man, its a 24", with dia-compe brakes and a really cool lookin chainwheel...oh yeah and its a 5 speed with a rear derailleur which I found kinda strange on a bike like this.

But really really cool.

Yeah he did. I know he doesn't give a **** about it either...he was impressed we got it rideable in under 5 minutes.

I could probably get it from him for a case of beer. Or i could just ask real nice and ride it whenever I want
