any easy way to bend a some springer forks?

I just picked up an old bike on the side of the road for free. perfect for a lowrider. I was wondering if any body knew an easy way to bend the forks.

Didn't Bike Rod and Kustom have an article on making a springer from scratch?

borrow a heavywall conduit bender or put the ends of the fork on a sewer grate and carefully pull
