Tall bike Middle Eastern style
Riding at roughly the same height as his trusty camel this intrepid rider in keffiyeh headgear slowly plods along in his desperate search for chain lube.

Who'd have thought there would be an AltBiker in the ME?
Thanks for finding that .

That was great.
At such a height, he would be out of reach of even the biggest dogs, as long as they didn't make him fall over.

Bottom Bracket clearance: You just can't have too much.
I would really like to see how he mounts that thing.

It was nice to see. Kind of reminded me of a tall bike version of a Dursley Pederson. Nice to see something more engineered than the typical weld two frames together tall bike.
People can't understand why a bike would be that tall? In the desert, in the summer, it's got to be cooler up there. And farther from concentrated auto exhausts.

It appears to be a regular diamond-frame with extended head tube and wheel stays. The bottom stays could collapse the whole rig with the slightest loss of tension (no curb-hoping on that puppy). An XXXXL Strida like this would be a challenge to haul into a bus - you'd have to lash it to the roof with XXXXL bungee cords.

I want to build one of those with an extension ladder in the middle. You could pull the bottom extension up once you've mounted it. Since it would be multipurpose you could call it a Sport Utility Bicycle (SUB). It would make a great work bike for a cable installer or tree pruner.
