It's a "modern" Schwinn though with the crappy re-spray it certainly looked old. The wheels were sprayed green but were aluminum rims.
No "classic" was disturbed in making this ride though since I'm only doing bolt-ons there's not a whole lot of disturbing anyways.
The springer fork came from my LBS and I don't know the source beyond that. Same for the fenders and stem and the bars came from the Electra catalog. The wheels are Alienation Plain Black Rims (in white
I know for many the idea is to get out the torch and "build yer own" and that this is more of a custom mod job than a true build but I'm having fun. Also, I'm going for the "Oooooh shiny" effect. Hence the chrome; with more to come.
