I just cut up an old MTB that I scored at the dump to put in the back of my Cessna.
Coaster brake and front brake gives me no cables front to rear.Attachment 315814Attachment 315815Attachment 315816Attachment 315817Attachment 315818
Somehow I got the photos upside down. Can someone tell me how to fix that?
BTW, that's a clever "breakapart" solution. The price was right, too.
I bought a Brompton M6L folder to carry with me in my 172. Same problem, different solution ($$$$). :(
When I read "plane bike" , I got excited. Then I opened the topic ...
I think I had a different concept in mind.
Very nice :) the only thing I flew (and hope to fly a bit more come summer) is a twin seat glider... no space in the back for bikes!
I just added a bicycle drive to my plane. :p
I, too, had a different concept in mind.
#5, An early entry into the contest ... ?
But not this.
my veterinarian has a '68 beech bonanza and a '72 honda ct90. he had a guy saw the down tube in 2 and weld in a hinge so it could fold and go in the luggage door. so well done, it looked factory, paint and all.
like, totally voided the bike's warranty!:D
the bike's handlebar had a hand clamp (factory) so the bar could pivot sideways. and the mirrors unscrewed by hand.
Rodney, that's cheating; it's gotta be a bicycle, not a motorcycle. ;)
Nice chop job on the old mtb! This thread makes me want to start flying again!
