2 Rims, 1 Hub

Just finished this nonsense today, 24h hub to 48h 20" rim to 24h 26" rim:

How do you inflate it? Looks like the valve is inside the inner rim? Just optical illusion?

Could it survive a two foot drop?

The valve stem is in a normal orientation. It's just a long valve stem so it looks like it is touching the 20" rim. From a two foot drop the wheel would probably develop a good hop and break a spoke or two, so it would do about as well as most street-oriented wheels. I've already bunnyhopped this bike a fair bit and the wheel is running pretty true.

Also, the front rack is made from cutting, bending and drilling new holes in a rear rack:

There is the strap together similar rims side by side to use 3 or 5 of them, too.

the low tide mud flats of Humboldt Bay need more flotation to cross.
