Well looks like I picked the loser every round. My idea of freeride has become 'retro', I will now relegate myself to my trails, its all about the bmxers moving over and doing nothing more than tricks, about as useful as skiers who can only 'jib'.... winner is...Kurt

Best trick and best urban asult went to joe. Definately agree with the best trick. Won a new stp frame and diablous build kit.

Best air - went to steve. Chump deserves it for sure. Probably the only pure rider in the whole comp. This kid destroys whistler mountain daily. Won himself a giant dh frame.

Best line - Derek Peltzer (I think this is the kid with the wire teeter) - definately well deserverd

Worst crash went to the aussies favorite - Dave McLaughlin.

Of those only one I didn't vote for. Best urban I voted for the kid who rode urban, not trials. But Joe was my second pick so no biggy.

Congrats to all who won.

good thing joe got that frame, he bent the rear triangle on his bike trying to do a flair

I think that diablous kit is worth more than the frame itself haha

yeah, he said he was going to sell it for other parts he needs, because he has some sick profile racing cranks already. and the diablus is a bit to heavy for trials.

I reckon that Brooks and Gatzka deserved it... oh well they did well. In my opinion they shoed true freeriding skil they, dare I say, hucked, did DH, tricks and general skills. Also the fact that they did it together shows the social aspect of the sport and one of the biggest things about it, mateship.

Go Whacka... bit late for him now though, he is currently nursing some broken ribs. (sorry Aussie pride :p)

Oh-oh... now you're going to be pegged as some crotchity old-skooler pining for the yesteryears of the early 21st. century. :D BTW, I agree with you. ;)
