I'm undecided about which of these bikes to bid on and would like some input. The first is a 1997 MT-900 LOS-DOS Cannondale, the second is a 1996 Burley Rock'n Roll. They both have reported very low mileage (less than 1k), but I have to say the purple Burley just looks like it has been taken better care of, the Cannondale is black and the only color my wife said not to buy. Never mind, I think I have just answered my own question... funny how writing things down will help sometimes. Let the bidding begin!

From what i could see in the pics. I'd say the C'dale is like new, just dusty from sitting in the garage. I've had a Cdale tandem since 91 and love it. The burley owner states he had a stoker kit on it so i'd expect at least some cosmetic damage to the stoker downtube. I'd say the Burley is likely to be much more flexible. I like the stiffness of the cannondale.. just get a good susp. seatpost for your stoker!

Thanks for your comments. I road a Cannondale over the weekend and liked it very much. However, I ended up buying the Burley based on fit for the stoker, and yes, I'm looking for that suspension seatpost right now. I think I will try one of Supergo's and see how we like it. This is really an entry level bike for us to see if we enjoy riding together.
