I think the crankset does. I believe Truvativ said I need a 113mm for my Stylo Team 04's. That was all fine but now that I have a schwinn homegrown frame things are not so smooth. It still runs but there is very tight clearance between driveside crankarm and chainstay, I mean like 3mm max. Probably more like 2, and when im clipped in and applying load it flexes, actually hitting the chainstay protector. Im thinking that if my cranks were more spread apart may be by 5mm it would not do this. So is there anything I can do? Would a 118 cause issues

Seattube diameter and chainstay configuration also factor in. Since they also list a 118 for that crank, that's what I'd be usin with your setup.

where do you see 118 for the crank? Im looking through the "manual" that came with my cranks now
