Classic & Vintage - Prewar Shelby

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Last weekend on my way home from an antique tractor show I stopped off at an antique dealer and bought this old Shelby for $65. It was missing the rear carrier but I had one to install. The tires were shot so I installed a pair of useable old ones. It rides nice for an old bike.

Cool! Are you thinking about a new paint job?
I will probably put a better paint job on it. I rent bicycles to the movie industry and sometimes they want a bike in rough, worn condition. It is rideable now just cosmetically challenged!
