Hi all

Yesterday during my ride I noticed one of my pedals started clicking at times. After the ride I looked at it and it no longer spins freely. It no longer spins smoothy either. Is this something that can be fixed? The pedal came with my '99 C'dale R600, not sure what model they are.

Thanks!
Mike

I don't know if it will solve your problem, but most Look pedals can be taken apart. I have a couple of pairs sitting around that need a little work. You need a plastic splined tool to get them open. I sent an email to the U.S. distributer http://veltecsports.com/
They emailed me the part number, and told me to have my LBS order it...and then a couple of weeks later, they mailed me one for free. Pretty cool.

You can pick up the spline tool for $3.95 US here:

Thanks. I just got the pedals replaced as my LBS said the pedal was broken (he was able to wobble the pedal with his hand) and it wouldn't be cost effective to buy and wait for new parts. I upgraded to new LOOK A3.1.
