Hey velo, I noticed in your profile that you too own an 89 MB2. Wow, Grant Petersen, was sure ahead of his time when he came out with that bike. I think it was the first one out there with really short chain stays to give some great climbing characteristics. I think I will have to get mine out of mothballs and give it a spin again. Jeff

Yeah, it is a great bike. It is in Europe right now (where I should be, sippin' wine at some cafe), so I'll have to get it back over here one of these days. Hmmm, now I'm planning a trip to Paris, to get my bike, yeah, that's the ticket.

When I sip wine in Europe, I prefer the sidewalk cafes of Naples. There's just something about their meats hanging from the ceiling and their cheeses that just shout for you to fill your glass one more time and ask for another hunk of bread and one of the exotic cheeses you have never tried before. There's a little cafe near where the cruise ships dock that is about perfect, especially when I can catch a fishing boat, buy a freshly caught fish and then talk the cafe owner into preparing it for me as I down one more glass of wine. How many was that today? One...two....three...ah who cares, it's all good.
