try using a program to reduce the image size and that'll make the file size smaller. Most operating systems come with a program to do such...like Microsoft Photo Editor.
go to www.picrack.com
uplod them there, then just use the "[img]" tags to post them.
Use photoshop or host them somewhere else like imageshack or imagestation.

If you're working in photoshop, or some other image manipulation program, start by reducing the resolution to 72 dpi (dots per inch). Any higher resolution setting would be wasted when viewed on a computer moniter, any lower resolution will begin to appear pixelated. After you've gone to 72 dpi, begin to make your image physically smaller to reduce the file size. For example; it it's a 20" x 24" jpg file that is 1.1 MB, reduce it to 10" x 12" and see what the file size is. Keep reducing it until it is no bigger than 100 K. That is the maximum you can upload to this site via the 'manage attachments' feature.

i just like to stick to forum etiquette...
I know, I know - I did write a lengthy post and a general state of things and update post-accident. Plus people really wanted to see those pink Phils. ;)
Well, I feel a bit style-bitten...

165 is referring to the kashimax top tube protector on the bike in the fixed gear gallery.

I can't stand vanity threads in general. I like the road forum, but it is the worst for this. People starting posts like "Hey, just wanted to let you guys know I got over my cold. I had a fever for the last 3 weeks" wtf??
I also notice that on the road forum there are 3-4 people that literally start several threads a day, and literally comment on each thread --they also spend $4k on their bike, but don't have a red star next to their name, even though they use the most bandwidth.
This forum (s/s fixed) is a bit more relaxed, and the vanity threads here are actually cool because most people get along, and people have a good sense of humor.
off topic, but the recumbent forum is the funniest... those guys HATE each other, constantly fighting, flaming each other, posting threads that diss each other... fscking hilarious. If you read the recumbent forums here, all the guys know each others aliases and post on other forums where they know each other, they start blogs to flame each other. It's pretty funny. And it's not just bikeforumsf.net, I went to cyclingforums and there was a post in their recumbent section from a non-recumbent guy basically saying "will you recumbent guys get the hell out of here and take your fights somewhere else".

na,
Hey, sweet rig. Couple of questions:
1) What kind of bars (brand/model) are those --love 'em.
2) I am interested in getting a soma rush, are the graphics/decals that subdued, or did you go over them with a black marker?
3) People nonchalantly say "Pimpin' ain't easy". Have you found this more of a truism since you bought your new ride?
thanks
