I read somewhere that Campy NR axles and cones can be used as replacements in Normandy Competition hubs. Can anybody confirm this? I once asked Sheldon Brown in an email what axles and cones I could use as replacements and he didn't have an answer. I thought he knew EVERYTHING!
Worked fine on my Normandys, but I replaced the axle as well. OEM axle on the
Normandy bent, one actually broke inside the hub. Rode the replacement Campys
for the next 20yrs. Both should be 10x1.0 mm thread (OEM and Campy).
Kind of an expensive fix, tho...
Back then it was less than $5 per hub. :). Steve
Actually, I plan to do the same thing this weekend, because I have a set of Normandy Luxe Competition high-flange hubs, 120 OLD, and a set of Campag. Record low-flange hubs, 126 OLD. The hub holes on the Campag. rear are shot, and high-flange hubs just look right on the Capo.

New NR/SR cones are $10 a pair and axles are another $5 each. I don't call that an expensive fix.

I have a Normandy hub that needs some new parts. Where could I get the right NR/SR cones and axles online?

I bought front and rear cones and a front axel. I haven't tried them in the Normandy cones yet, so I can't verify that they'll work. I have no reason to doubt it, though.
