Which one would you convert? I'm looking for tips on which frame is best, but also sob sentimental stories about abandoned/converted bikes are always welcome (since I want the FS10 to have a fighting chance).

Centurion Cavelletto -- stupidly bought frame on ebay. Deleted all the transactions and can't remember anything about this frame. I was young and foolish in December.

Free Spirit -- could say stupidly brought in from my alleyway, but I have a thing for strays. No it's not the nice Austrian type -- R.O.C. all the way.

Schwinn Caliente -- '79, Chicago Schwinn, peeling decals, rusty (could be "Spicy Chestnut" paint job) but sound, $10 used at a shop near my job.

go with the cavelletto. its most likely the newest (probably '90's?) highest quality, japanese built frame--and its probably chromoly. the schwinn caliente is pretty much a generic entry level bicycle made of high tensile steel. my guitarist has one... its kinda heavy and lame. meh, the free spirt, sold by sears, always see em at the thrift store. id pass, but ill admit, i dont know much about them.
the centurion will most likely have the beefiest dropouts out of them all.
