I'm fitting new 9-speed derailleurs, shifters, cassette etc, and have (Mega-9) LX derailleurs and deore shifters ready to install. Are there any compatibility issues I should watch out for when buying a cassette and chain? Would an SRAM cassette really work that well?
Also, what is this "Mega-9" nonesense and will I have a problem with my Alivio crankset?
