So I after hunting for some time, I just won a track frame on Ebay. Of course after the fact, now I want to figure out if I actually got a good deal or not.

Hartley?? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7150346939)

Any body know anything about this kinda bike? Searching these forums and google comes up short.

not familiar with that frame, but it looks nice from an aesthetics stand point color and design (imo).... if it fits you well im sure it will be nice..

it sure looks like you got a good deal. i don't know anything about hartley, but thats a nice looking frameset. you should keep it classic and built it up.

brooks saddle, nitto drops, an old campy or sugino crankset, and maybe some open pro rims would look nice.

Awesome! Of course in my quick (i.e. foolish) bidding, i didn't even think to ask about shipping...

I've always loved the look of chromed seat stays and track ends! Less than $200 for frame and fork...not too shabby! Have fun building it up!

I saw it on ebay...and thought it was going to go for a good price. I actually just bought a suguno crank from the guy. the thing is I think its a old frame built in australia, nothing wrong with that, just that its not going to be something most of us here in the states would not have heard of. there certainly won't be another out there when you take it out.
