As I was coming home from an evening ride on my RANS Vivo this evening, I passed a group of teenagers hanging out. I overheard:
Teen 1: I want one of those bikes.
Teen 2: They're the good kind.
It brings comfort to learn that despite all the talk of the decline of the younger generation, there are still children who are being raised properly!

My wife has an EZ Sport, and she's always getting comments from kids about how cool it is.
Until they find out you can't do any "tricks" on a recumbent.
Just got home(VT) from the MS 150 from Houston to Austin (my first effort). Aside from the mass of riders that had to be contended with I was really surprised by the number of DF riders that took the time to at the very least comment on how cool my bent was or engage in a conversation about the various advantages of the bent over the DF.
Great experience and makes me glad that I am rid'n bent.
