Ya mine looks relitivley the same but I did get it on Friday, dam Trek took over two weeks to get that biatch from the factory, but she's here, and now the car can stay in the garage again, as I don't have much use for it.

Save for the rear derailler now being silver and a thinner saddle it's pretty much the same. Oh and a few scratches.
Err no.

Jason, what the h**l do you ride your bike on that the tires get bald so fast? Mine really don't seem to be wearing that bad at all. Granted I haven't had much time to ride lately but I probably have as many miles on mine as you do with yours just because of the fact that I've had it since before Christmas.

Alot of people run softer rubber, I had a set of Nokian NBX tires and within less than 100 miles the soft rubber had just vanished and I was left with THREADS showing. not really sure what to say, it's all in how you ride.

I was just asking because I have the same bike as him, so I assumed he still had the stock tires since this thread is about comparing your bike now to how it looked when you bought it.

four or five good skids on a tire will leave it useless.

Bruiser2, I ride my bike A LOT. I ride about 5-7 hours on a good day. It snowed yesterday and I still went out for 2 hours ;). I ride the crap out of it. I really love it, it takes sooo much abuse. Bruiser2, what's the largest jump/drop you've taken with your Bruiser 2? They really are sweet, arn't they?

Oh ya, and the chainstays on my bike don't really have any paint left on them from chainslap (I wish I had a lizard skin) so I put black electrical tape all over that part, and in places where the cables scratch the frame.

For a jump its probably the wooden one that I built, about 2 feet. As for a drop, I havent really gone over 1 and a half feet(which i can actually bunnyhop up now) because around here there is nothing until i hit about the 6 foot range, but thats all to flat on asphalt/concrete. I don't know if you would classify this in the drop category but i went off my friends step up jump, basically the backside of a motorcycle jump his older brother buitl, and got about 4-5 feet off the ground and landed pretty much on flat. it was very slightly sloped, around like 10 degrees or so and the landing was dirt. And yes the Bruiers are very sweet bikes, haven't had any real problems with mine yet, whats your biggest drop/jump?

I do more drops than jumps. I've gone up to 4 feet so far.

I get loooong heavy duty shoe laces that go well with my paint and wrap them neatly
around the frame like you wrap handlebar tape to stop the loud chainslap and paint
rubbage. The last lace I used I got from a punk rock clothing store and it had big
dice all over it so I looked cool bashing my shins and knees up trying to jump stairs
and down trees :D

PWRD, I like the yellow rims:D
The Bianchi looks the same, I'm trying to keep it "vintage". The E5 is getting kinda messed up, has alot of scratches and a few(I count 3) small dings on the frame. My mtb has completely changed, new fork, components, rear shock, handlebars and wheels. Only thing left is the frame which at the moment is clean and all the stickers are visible:D

P.3 - no, I changed the wheelset, and the single crown fork to a dual crown so it looks quite a bit different.
8500 - hard to tell. It looks different from a stock one though.
Diamondback - Yes, there's nothing left on it except for an old crankset :P

The "Stumpy" and the "Enduro" look almost as they did when I took them from the shop...except for the MUD decorating the "Enduro"! (The "Stumpy" hasn't gone out this year...yet!...for its inaugural "mud bath". )
The "HardRock" has a cargo rack, bar ends, Power Grips, and plenty reflective tape (same for the Haro "Escape"....which is going to lose most of that soon!!). These have been, mostly, winter bikes until this last winter (they are being replaced with much more commuter-friendly models).
The non-MTB's?? Those are much more "customized"...and a topic for other forums! ;)

Ya my roast is close. The fork is different as are the wheels. But nothing noticably different to the uneducated.

It started as a 27 speed, now it's a single speed. Guess.
Does your bike look anything like it did when you first bought it?
No it has wheels and other functioning bits on it now.

Tim,
You bike came as a frame I am assuming?...
Here is a picture of my superlight a couple months after I originally built it up. I bought it as just a frame.

Here it is now.
http://gallery.consumerreview.com/webcrossing/images/000_2941.jpg
There are a few differences, like seat, seat post, saddle, grips, brakes, brake levers, shifters, wheels, tires, cassette, stem, fork, pedals, bottom bracket, chain rings, etc.
As of tonight it will be back to it's original form though. It will just be a frame with nothing attached. RIP Superlight, we had a lot of fun together. :o

The soma cross bike and the Kona cruiser are pretty much stock. The singlespeed, the explosif, and the ti bike were all built from the frame up, so there's nothing much stock about them.
The rockcombo I just sold off was absolutely nowhere near stock.

Che lives, I love my bike, it is pretty heavy but it doesnt FEEL heavy, so it doesnt bother me much. The bike is very solid, great FR bike. If you have any specific questions send me a PM.
My XtCSE3 has had risers, wider tires and softer grips fitted. Nothing major, but its running like tripe at the minute, shifting is horrible, brakes are nowhere near as sharp as they should be and there are countless missing bolts and wobbles. Apart from that and the numerous dings, scratches etc, its good :D
I may break it for parts and shift it on ebay, then upgrade in summer. Either that or take off the horrible discs and replace them with better Avid V's, a rigid fork and make it into XC only and get a more freeride orientated bike (Stinky perhaps) for messing about on.

Most of my bikes came as frame only, so yeah they're a bit different.
My road bike and my cyclocross bike are pretty much stock except for the pedals and the cyclocomputer.
As far as a mountain bike, I don't think there is one complete bike that I would want that came stock with all the parts/pieces I want.
Mine is basically the same. Now it just has some stickers on it (doesn't each sticker give you an extra 10hp?) Taken the 'zocchi mud guard off and my rear/left brake lever is now purple. I snapped my original Mag lever at a rade and bought my friend's old Hayes Purple/ old school Mags lever off him that saved me over $100. Oh and the tyres are slicker and it has mud on it and at the moment it has a race plate on it.
