so im going to asu and moving into a house with my best friend right like a mile from campus so i needed to buy a bike. i grew up on bmx's and had some cheesy mountain bikes since, so i opted for a bmx. my best friend/roomate bought a DK "step up" and i rode it and i liked it alot, so i did some research knowing i wanted an aluminum bike and i went to the shop and they had a dk "fury" in black so i bought it. it was less than 250.
all thru my childhood i loved my little extreemly small huffys n such and getting on this thing just brought back alot of memories. im 19 now i was probably 9 then.
thought id join this forum and introduce myself
ill take some pictures of it.
since i am going to be going to asu i decided to take the sticker that said "aluminum frame" of the back and i took off most of the sticker that said it was a "fury" i cut if off with a blade and left the part that says "DK"
if u have an opinion on the bike good or bad, feel free to let me know

Why not take off all the stickers? Although everything is labeled 'DK'... at least on mine; I have the 24" version.
You get the 20" one? IMO its a nice bike, simple, rides and handles pretty well, doesn't weigh much. Easy to control where the front and back wheels are.

the guy at the bike shop said i have 5/16 axles. and i want a set of pegs so someone can ride on the back going from my house to the jack in the box a block from where im moving. now i saw these pegs on ebay that say "Each axle peg is threaded to fit both 24 & 26 tpi axles"
will that work?
also what milimeter size is equivilant to 15/16? 14mm/12mm/10mm? or what?

You have 3/8" (10mm) axles, front and back.

ok cool... im clueless about this stuff. all i know is they did look a little smaller then other at the store. but it could have been just an ilusion.
just wanna make sure that u are sure of the size before i buy some pegs online.
so are u sure?

I can only hope that you don't seriously plan on using pegs with that bike. It's an aluminum race bike, not a chromoly frame for street, park, and/or trails; you'd probably shear the headtube clean off.

i would ride very light trails/pegless street with that ontop of using it for trasnpotation nothing more.
