Does anybody know about these? The bike looks interesting, but I can't find any info on them, other than that they sell for around $500. Check it out:

Don't know anything about them myself save for what I can see...
It's got a really short wheelbase and the folding hinge being so low is certainly unusual...Wonder if it will mean the frame flexes?...
Every which way - I don't really like the look of it. It's very preppy.

I examined a Biria in NYC it looked fine. Why should whether a bike looks preppy or not mean anything .Little Pixel how can a bicycle be preppy?Did you see a Biria wearing Khakis with a madras plaid shirt and topsiders?Perhaps it was wearing lilly pullitzer sports wear?I do not get it. :D

the birias, despite the dodgy-looking design are incredibly stiff. they're also incredible heavy. and they're also an incredible pain in the ass to assemble.

If the weight limit were high enough the Biria might be a good bike for my father. It does not seem possible to get a lower stepover height.
