Read somewhere that Sidi Storms are sized to accomodate extra socks. If I want to use them with just one pair of socks should I be getting a size that is smaller than my road shoe size?

haha...I don't know about THOSE SIDIs but every SIDI I've seen has been sized smaller than a shoe of the same size by Specialized or PI.
