My friend gave me a Cage Rocket for my birthday (www.cagerocket.com). It's a storage compartment that you can slide into your water bottle cage.
I'm not usually much of a gadget man, but I have to say this is pretty cool. It's got a hinged door which makes it really easy to get into without pulling it out of the cage. I put my sunglasses and GPS/phone in there. It's got foam padding on the inside. Anyone else ever use one of these?
I used to make a similar contraption by cutting the neck off a water bottle, but this is much nicer....

I own a couple Cage Rockets. I use one for tools for my mountain bike. The other I use for the phone and keys on commutes. I think they're great.
I have one. I use it on my commuterr for storing sunglasses. It's handy, but it does tends to rattle a lot, especially in metal water bottle cages. I put it in an old cloth sunglasses bag before putting it in the cage which has cut down on the rattling some.

If you bend your cage in slightly you will get better retention and it will take care of the rattling. That's what I do with my water bottles and Cage Rockets.

Bend schmend. I used to use metal cages but I got tired of them breaking.

$3 for lighter weight, better cage that has lasted a lot longer than the old metal ones? Any day

Only problem here is the Rocket doesn't fit to well in the Profile cage. That and they don't sell em at WalMart :)
Did you cut that dang o-ring / rubber band off your cage? I find em much easier to use without the ring.

I have one. Very handy. It fits much better in the cages on my road bike than the ones on my commuter though.
It is designed to fit this style, like on my road bike:

It doesn't fit this style as well, but it works:

There is a notch on the back. You can't really see it in this picture, but it lines up with the notch on water bottles, and fits right into the first style. It's a little to wide to really fit properly in the second.

I haven't had any fit problems with my cages. I have the traditional style cages. I bend them in for a nice tight fit, especially on my mountain bikes.

I can't see why it wouldn't.
Walmart    :crash:
Yeah mine don't have the O-ring anymore. Kinda worthless in my opinion.

I use a solid color (not clear), large mouth water bottle stuffed with a rag to hold stuff. The rag comes in handy, and because it looks like a water bottle I leave it on the bike and it has never been stolen.

wit glasses and keys, or is it too small?
