View Full Version : Reviews Section.
I think with all the questions that pop up over products and all the threads that pop up when someone tries something new it would be nice to have a review section or perhaps even a review section for each group (mtb, road, bmx, etc.)

I think that is the best idea to come in this section of the forum for a while. Reviews would be awsome, the ones on mtbr suck. Like you see a downhill rim rated 3 stars because its heavy
I think that Joe likes to refer people to roadbikereview.com and mtbr. This topic's been discussed before, and so far, we're still referring people to the aforementioned webpages.

well mtbr is total crap. The bulk of the reviews are poorly done. My fav examples are the ones where they complain about how their 130 gram stem broke after their 6 foot drop. some of them work the company they review for, in most instances its just not accurate. Reviews here would be more interactive then. people can PM people and ask questions
True... but I just think Joe may think it's a bit much, and I think he thinks the other websites do it well enough... I think.
Of course, you could drop Joe a PM and find out for sure what's on his mind.

Well the thing about sites like roadbikereview is their selection is limited. They don't list all bikes manufacturers or models.
So I take it no one outside of Phantomcow and myself think it would be nice to have a specific forum to post our review's?

I'd actually perfer someone to ask about x product and have people chime in on a thread.
I've also seen review sections go down the drain, i.e cyclingforums
too many products, too many setups.
