I'm looking to buy a Fox Vanilla RLC for my 04 Giant Iguana. But I'm not sure if the geometry(not sure if that is what its called) can handle it. Does anyone know the answer??

I am somewhat hoping you're joking... the frame you have was designed around an 80mm fork and can *maybe* go to a 100mm fork without TOO many negative consequences. You are however looking at a 130mm fork... it will make the bike into a chopper and void your warranty.

wont be that bad, friend of mine put manitou stance kingpin forks with 170mm travel on his norco 250, which is actually set up for 80mm of travel 100mm max. His bike is doing more than fine, even after many extremely hard casings.

Wouldn't the overall length of the fork be more relative? Although there are probably no 130mm travel forks that would be even close in overall length to an 80mm fork, something around 100 maybe? I'm speaking of crown race to axle distance.

Race to axle distance on most forks of a given travel is pretty darn close. Fox tends to be a bit shorter, but not enough that it matters.
