My new Electra Cruiser (internal 3 gear) is pretty damn noisy, especially on the third gear. Is this common for internal gears, or just Electra, or what?

If it's new, I'd take it back and have it adjusted. When I bought my Sunny 7, it developed a hitch when going from 4 to 5. I took it back, had it adjusted and had the mechanic show me how to adjust it.

my wife has the electra single speed...quiet as a mouse...so its likely the internal gear...I would have to agree with Grumpy. Take it back and ask them to adjust it
