Hello. I have been reading this forum forever,so it must be time to start talking.I'm a bad speller, so be nice. I ride a road bike here in Racine, and got started about 7 years ago. I grew up in Kenosha, home of the oldest velodrome in the U.S.,and my dad raced a little back in Cal. His bike was always in sight in the house, so I always had it on my mind. It was a Windsor with full Campagnolo,a hot bike for a garbage man in the 70's. He gave me it, saying he's done riding. He did not ride for years, untill he rode a freinds modern shifting bike, and that got him to buy a new one. He now rides every day. So I get my love for race bikes from pa. I have a 85' Paramount that I restored with full Campagnolo Record and a Medici old campy. Hope to here from you, Thanks!

Hey,
Welcome.
I'm also fairly new to this forum.

I also have a Medici, although not campy equipped. Not too many around, although I've actually seen one Medici track bike cruisin' the roads up here in Milwaukee.

I have a good friend who races fairly regularly down on your velodrome, he does fairly well.

by the way your spelling was fine. I personally think my spelling is okay, I just have to watch for typos.

Keep pedalin'

Hey! I used to ride up to Racine when I lived in Waukegan (yes, I used to be a FIB) on Sheridan Rd (I only now realize how much I was tempting fate) or sometimes up Green Bay Rd (not much better). You've got a lot of nice places to ride up there (too bad I couldn't find them when I lived in the area. Enjoy.
