Introductions - Aloha from Honolulu

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Aloha,
I am a newbie tri-geek from Honolulu who tops out at over 300 lbs. I started training as a way to lose weight, improve my health, get back in shape and hopefully start living life to the fullest. I have enjoyed reading the posts and have used the knowledge gained to help put me more at ease when riding my bike.
Mahalo (Thanks), Juan.

Aloha Juan:
Welcome to the forums. I go over to Honolulu every year for the month of September, but mostly to surf. I ride alot but in Honolulu you have to really watch out for that traffic. Good luck on the weight, riding and swimming will get you into great shape.
