Hello everyone,

I'm a 26 year old guy living in Orlando, Fl. I'm one of a small handful of fixie riders here in town. Back in 1990 orlando was voted one of the worst cities to cycle. Its admittedly better nowadays however, there are very few commuters so cyclists are virtual non-entities on the roads. I'll be moving back to Gainesville at the end of the year and will be glad to be back in a city where bikers actually at least partially visible.

Glad to be here
Cheers,
Andrew

Hi there,
Ha! No, actually I work for the city of Orlando in the archives department and at the city's historic cemetery.

Greetings -- I grew up in Orlando (Casselberry, actually) and it was a really terrible place to cycle then (from 1981 until I split in 1990). G'ville is (at least, was) a much more bike-friendly town.... Welcome to the forum!
