I recently bought a Psylo on Ebay. I had to put a new crown race on it and ended up getting a new headset (cane creek). Anyway the fork makes a clicking noise when it shocks down. It bothers the crap out of me. Otherwise it rides fine. But the click scares me. Anyone with similar trouble or experience?

Thanx

I think you might have gotten shafted.

I've heard this is a problem with the psylo and it can be fixed by adjusting the fork down to around 100-105 mm of travel. Don't know myself but I'm in the market for a new fork and read this.

My Psylo doesn't do that. Granted mine has very few miles on it, but I think you may need to open yours up and see what's going on. Forks should be smooth and quiet.

Does it act the same at different travel settings? Not sure if the exact year and model makes a diff. but you might want to mention that also.

Cheers

almost every psylo with many miles on it develops a click (usually the u turn), and the crown creaks a bit at full travel extension (over 100 mm or so)

Psylo = clicking fork. I think it's quite common to be honest, don't worry about it.

You might want to PM Konarider24, if he doesn't respond, he has one.

its an SL, I took it apart and changed the oil, but I messed with the dampening system and I now know I shouldn't have done that. I guess I'm gonna have to take it to a shop now , or does anyone have any advice on working on the dampening system?
