$24.99 RCA vibration proof from Walmart. Opened it up and I thought there would be some kind of belt clip and there wasn't.

Does anybody know a brand that sells beltclips with their port CD players? :)

Just put the player in your jersey pocket while you ride.

Oh that's right ... you're not fond of real cycling gear are you? :)

Nope. Golf or tee shirt and jean shorts down to the knees. No Castro District stuff here?

Maybe when I'm 65 with a big beer gut , I'll go down to the beach in my Speedo briefs... :D

That's such a horrible image to put into anyone's head. :(

Unfortunately, it's too close to the truth with many people old enough to know better. :)

Just buy a bloody iPod, it's not worth getting anything else. ESPECIALLY a $25 CD player. And besides, belt clips never hold very tight anyway, the thing would probably come loose, hit the ground, and shatter into a thousand pieces not 500m from home.

Pickup up a small fanny pack for a $1; probably for less at a garage sale. Works great for me.

Two options:

A Camelbak SlingShot

An Apple iPod Shuffle......Amazon.com has em for ~$99. Sign up for the Amazon Visa card and get $30 off. Take the 6 months interest-free to pay it off ($11.50 a month). Cancel the account.

Qualifies for free shipping to boot.

I put my belt-clipless cd player in my seat bag. I don't really know if that would work for you. I don't use headphones, I have 2 old computer speakers (non-powered) in the side pockets of my seat bag.

69/25 ~ 2 3/4

A Shuffle is gonna hold at least 7 or 8 CD's worth of music. No moving parts, light as a feather. In a pocket or round the neck. Never was an Apple fan but this thing rocks.
