Hello and I'm happy to be a member of this forum.
I'm 42, father of two boys, 4 and 2. My wife and I are getting back into the bike world this spring. She is a former avid spinner at the YMCA and I have raced mountain bikes in the past.
I have a 1994 Cannondale SM400 mountain bike with upgraded components (Shimano) and a 1983 Trek 500 road bike, also upgraded. Yes, I like the older rides. Actually when I find a bike that fits and I like it, I'd rather upgrade the parts and keep the frame.
I'm really looking forward to introducing the sport to my sons!
