I got a set of Candy Cs and a Cane Creek S6 headset, I was going to get a Chris King, but the CC is rebuildable so I figured what the heck. I also got some accelerade drink mix, I'll report if it's any good, but in the mean time here are a couple pix.

Very cool... you've got Mallets now, right? Any reason for going with the Candys over the standard eggies? I've got Candy SL and Eggbeater S, and the Candys are a little bit harder to clip in to... platform gets in the way a bit more.

at 450ish lb I don't feel comfortable riding on just a rod, it's mainly a comfort issue. I need atleast some kind of a platform, and the mallets are just huge...they don't really serve me any purpose while road riding...

Took the pedals for a spin, engagement is a bit more tricky than the mallets, but overall still feel solid, the mallets are a great pedal but offered me no additional advantages riding on road.
