Have you heard this when lifting the bike and pedaling and front wheel not moving? or is this during travel?
chain rubbing against front derailer?
does click frequency increase the faster you pedal then stop when you stop pedaling?

Assuming the clicking occurs near the bottom of the down stroke it could be;
1, The pedals, adjust bearings (clean & lube too) or replace the lot.
2, The crankset moving on the bottom bracket taper, torque up the nut twixt crank arm & BB. If you've no tools or experience take it to a shop. Very embarrassing to twist the head of an innocent allen head bolt :o
3, Seat or seat post moving about, lube seat post & re-tension, get used to seat or toss it.
