hehe I just watched that like 2 minutes ago. I have seen it before, interesting to see the interview of the guy who fell.

Yeah Dirtbike, I think he fell some 50ft or so. The interview was pretty interesting, I didn't realize how much he DIDN'T get hurt. I would have been scared poopless! Probably wouldn't ever ride again lol.

I cant believe he sat down on his seat when riding over that rock. He needs to learn how to ride that stuff at sea level, instead of a hugeass cliff. :eek:

HAHAHA! Ok I'm not wanting to start a new thread so hopefully someone will read this. I see the Collective is filmed in 16mm film. Why is this? Does anyone know anything about filming. All the reviews I see on this film, they always comment on the 16mm filming. Does this give it a different view?

It looks and feels old. My buddy films with digital and would kill his mother to be able to afford a 16mm. It takes more work but the picture comes out pure. I am not a visual person, but even I can tell the difference.
Beyond that I don't know specifics. I just know 16mm looks...better (thats a personal opinion, I am sure some people love digital media) :)

Looking at the previews on the website, it looks different. I couldn't quite explain it but it just looked different. I guess it's a more "pure" picture. I mean, I can tell the difference between a DVD and a VHS so I'm a visual guy.

16mm has a "warmer" appearance to it that the stark, crisp look of digital/vhs. Its like vinyl vs. a CD.

Well. I don't like that comparisson, (my gf would) imo vinyl sounds like ass. Its like listening to a cd with scratches on it
