Just ordered a new Burley Rivazza with the carbon fork option. $3200 +$300 for the fork option. 4-5 weeks until delivery. Can't wait.

Now the wife wants to go buy cycling gear. Woo hoo! Yes there is a god. My wife is actually, can you believe it excited about bike shops now.

Thanks for all you fine peoples posts. I have found a wealth of knowledge that has helped me choose the bike and the whole tandme experience.

You'll be happy with the Burley. My wife and I bought a Paso Doble last fall and Burley definitely allowed us to buy more componentry for our money. Enjoy your new ride.

Just talked to Burley not more than 15 minutes ago to get an update on my Tosa order. I ordered the tandem on April 4th and was told the estimated ship date is May 13th. We're also very excited to get our bike since I sold our old tandem sooner than expected.

#1 tandem drawback: you now have to buy 2 of everything. Those $200 shoes didn't seem that bad...Now they're $400. New Pneumo helmets on sale for $100? Better make that $200. Don't forget pedals, and of course matching jerseys.

No. Only base bike without the upgraded wheels, cranks or fork.

Good Luck on the delivery time. Some friends ordered a Rivazza back in late February and Burley is telling them mid to late May for shipment (they were originally told 4-5 weeks also). Burley said they are totally swamped with orders. I guess lots of people have noticed the "bang for the buck."

If Burley is realizing a profit on these sales, hopefully this will pull them out of their financial dire straights!

When we ordered our Burley back in late January they told us 2 weeks. It ended up being closer to 3. Guess ordering before the weather starts to get nice has its advantages ...

When I spoke to someone at Burley yesterday, I was told there will be aluminum tandems shipping on May 13th but none has shipped in a while. Hopefully, your friend's Rivazza and my Tosa are in that shipment.
