Just when it looked like the weather had turned for us here in the Twin Cities we get a day, unlike any other we've had in a long while, winter returned. I had use this break in the clouds to get out on my new bianchi Pista and try and crank out some quick miles, nope. I had to ride into the wind going out, a good NW'erner, that held my speed down. I wasn't ready for the snow or that much cold. I'd dressed for cilly conditions, then it began snowing. It was melting, and causing the pavement to steam, but it still snowed, and was a partial blizzard for a few minutes, then it cleared up and I was back to racing myself. The turn around was sweet as the wind was finally at my back for the last 6 miles. Tonight it's more of the same, hopefully by this weekedn we'll be back above freezing.
