A good place to see alt bikes is at the annual May Day Parade in Minneapolis. Here is a link to a page with some pictures of the 2003 parade. Everybody's favorite bike is the one that does somersaults. 2003 parade (http://non.primate.net/chicagofreakbike/rides.html) There were probably about 50+ bikes this year which is pretty good because it snowed on the parade.
