I think it would be a good idea to have a bike check section. One thing I really enjoy about the http://www.bikeguide.org forum that I go to often is being able to see what kind of setups my peers are using. It offers a good chance to see what other people run, what parts look cool, it helps give you ideas for your setup or for custom modifications or fabrications. Finally, everyone likes to show off their rides and have other people compliment them. The forum could be divided into 20", mountain bikes, road bikes, custom chopped stuff, and so on. Let me know what you think, and visit the bikeguide forum and check out the bike gallery, its all 20" but it gives you an image to work with.

I think our Bike Mechanics forum probably would work best for that. Well, that, plus you should really get a bike fit that works for YOU from a good LBS.

I guess my post didn't come accross the way I wanted it to. I think its cool to look at other people's bikes just like hot rod enthusiasts enjoy going to car shows and looking at other people's cars. The purpose of the forum would not be to look at other people's bikes and copy them, however there is nothing to stop someone from doin that. One thing that I personally get out of similar forums is the opportunity to see someone's setup and it may spark an idea for something unique for me to do to my bike. I hope this makes a little more sense than my last post.

Most of the subforums already have a long-running thread similar to the one you're describing.

I have been toying with the idea of creating a photo album for forum members to upload images to share with others, I'll check out bikeguide.org's forum and see what we can do here.

Until then, Khuon's reply is spot on.
